Most Walked About Boots In Texas by Leada Wood ©

Most Walked About Boots In Texas by Leada Wood○

This was a gift for my sweetie's birthday. It is on canvas with an airplane IFR sectional map collaged on the canvas. I then drew a pair of cowboy boots complete with spurs on top of the map. I then collaged brown paper on the boots to give texture and make them look more like leather. Now what to do....stay tuned as I know I will be adding more!

How creative! And "built" with love. Really, you are so creative, it must be hard to decide what you are going to do next!

I am getting ready for fall classes and am intimidated, hoping I can keep things interesting.

Oh, you asked about workshops. I am going to two local two-day workshops ... one, Jennifer Bowman, who is an acrylic artist of some national renown, and Chris Romine, a great regional experimental artist, who does acrylics, collage and experimental "stuff." Am looking forward to both ...

Betsy Dillard Stroud is awesome ... at least in the books and mags. I have her book, the Artist's Muse. I can imagine her workshop will be wonderful!
